Garnetta Hurt Yarber Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Garnetta Hurt Yarber of Glade Spring, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 11, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hurt and Elsie Nelson Hurt; her son Robert C. Yarber, Jr.; her brothers, Larry Hurt and Johnny Hurt; and her daughter-in-law Susan Yarber.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Yarber; her children, Tommy Eugene Yarber (Brenda) of Forest, VA, Kenneth W. Yarber (Temple) of Glade Spring, VA and Kathy Marie Berry (Tom) of Lutrell, TN; and her brother Edward Hurt. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fellowship Baptist, 14221 Ravenswood Dr, Meadowview, VA 24361, in Mrs. Yarber's name.
