With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Howard Henderson Stovall of Glade Spring, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 27, 2025 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Stovall and Bina Norris Stovall; and his siblings, James Stovall Jr., Eugene Stovall, William "Billy" Stovall, Mary Ann Stovall Shepherd, Helen Stovall Lane, Ruby Stovall Clark and Mildred Josephine "Suzie" Stovall Martin.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Eller Stovall; his sons, Michael Howard Stovall and Stuart Wesley Stovall (Mary Collins Stovall); his grandsons, Luke Wesley Stovall and John Nolan Stovall; and his pet Knox. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.

The family requests donations be made to Old Glade Presbyterian Outreach, Weekly meal delivery and the Blessing Box.
