Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James McNeil and Nettie McNeil; and his wife Hildegard Giestner McNeil. He is survived by: his siblings, Roger McNeil (Jean), Margaret O'Neil, Dorothy Pruitt (Harry), Lois Hale, David McNeil and Bonnie Woodward (Michael). He is also survived by his family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lighthouse Baptist Church (243 Kent St, Saltville, VA 24370). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
