He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Joe Widner, Sr., Shirley Widner, Walter and Betty Ray. He is survived by: his parents, Joe Widner and Betty Jo Widner; his wife Karen Widner; his daughters, Kaitlyn Widener, Alyson Widner and Abbagail Widner; his stepson David Prater (Mallory Thompson); his grandchildren, Luca, Oliver and Julianna Begley; his stepgrandson Grant Prater; his siblings, Billie Jo Pope (Henry) and Bobby Joe Widner (Amber); his parents-in-law, David and Linda Yarber; his close friend Jacob Olinger; and his pets, Tater and Maverick. He is also survived by several nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Frost Funeral Home, to aide in final expenses.
