He is survived by: his wife Carrie Elizabeth "Libby" Bare; his son Ben Bare (Meagan); his grandchildren, Abby and Jackson; his daughter Kari Bare; his brothers, David Bare, Tim Bare (Becky) and Robin Bare; his nieces, Kendra Cline (Derek), Courtney Miller (Josh) and Caitlin Ragaglia (Paul); his great-nieces, Caroline, Camille and Savannah; his great-nephew Walker; and his father-in-law Johnny Wilcox.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Frost Funeral Home Chapel in Abingdon, Virginia (185 Old Jonesboro Rd, Abingdon, VA 24210).
