It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita Jane Terry (Glade Spring, Virginia), who passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George William and Ruby Lee Terry; her siblings, William Craig "Bimbo" Terry and Susan Amber Jackson; and her grandparents, Ray, Edith Lee, John and Sallie Terry.
She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Parsons (Chuck); her grandchildren, Kristi Kelley (Travis) and Adam Parsons; her great grandchildren, Colby Kelley and Kara Kelley; and her caregiver Deloris Terry. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mount Rose Cemetery (10069 Crescent Rd, Glade Spring, VA 24340).
In lieu of flowers, she requested that donations be made to Feeding America of Southwest Virginia.
