He was predeceased by: his parents, George Leonard Poston and Maude Jane Terry Poston; his son Jeffrey Allen Poston; and his siblings, Winfred Poston, John Poston, Roscoe Poston, Charlie Poston, Edith Price and Leola Price.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Henderson Poston; his grandchildren, Jessica Poston and Stephen Poston; his great grandchild Jeffrey Poston; and his sister Jean Jackson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mount Rose Cemetery (10069 Crescent Rd, Glade Spring, VA 24340). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location.
