We are sad to announce that, on October 17, 2022, at the age of 92, Dorothy Helen Thorpe of Gladstone, Virginia, born in Fairfax, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William T. Fletcher and Mintie C. Fletcher; and her husband Wade T. Thorpe, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Linda M. Bell (Jonathan), Jeannette T. Watts (Frank), Wade T. Thorpe, Jr. (Janice) and Loretta T. Johns (David); and her sister Flossie May F. Wilson (James). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
