She was predeceased by: her spouse Gleanie Franklin Cooper, I; her parents, Bettye J. McConnell and Vernon B. Thomas; and her brother James Edward Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Daniel Cooper of Gladstone and Gleanie F. Cooper II (Chrissy) of Rixyville; her stepdaughter Glenda Cooper (G. T. Herbert) of Washington; and her siblings, Carolyn Pugh and Darryl Thomas (Marie). She is also survived by three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Robinson Funeral Home (667 Court St, Appomattox, VA 24522).
