He is survived by: his wife Phyllis White Carpenter; his sons, David (JoAnn), Gary (Sabrina) and Shaun (Pam); his grandchildren, Ashley, Octavia, Brittany, Chelsee, Marcell, Tarius and Tyler; his brother Roscoe Carpenter Sr. (Gale); his daughters, Cathy Wadlington, Rosalind Taylor, Felicia Carpenter and Crystal White; his nephews, Linwood Dawson, Timothy Jackson, Greg Robertson, Roscoe Carpenter Jr. and Donta Robertson; and his siblings-in-law, Eva Mae Moorman, James Jackson, Tony White, John White and Ricky White. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
