He was predeceased by: his wife Mattie Caroline Hancock Ashby; his parents, Aylor William Ashby, Sr. and Roberta Conner Ashby; and his brother Charles Ashby. He is survived by: his son Timothy William Ashby of Nathalie; and his sisters, Brenda Elder and Peggy Crews of Nathalie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
