He is survived by: his wife Linda Merryman DeJarnette; his children, Daniel Dwight DeJarnette, Jr. of Rustburg and Audrey DeJarnette (Michael Ward) of Madison Heights; his former spouse Leigh DeJarnette Davis of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Faith Davis, Carly Hill, Rachel Hill, Taylor Jones and Evan Jones; and his sister Bonnie Wilson (Roger) of Rustburg. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and his frisky.
