She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Fariss and Mabel D. Fariss; her husband Albert E.; and her brothers, Floyd Fariss and Joe Fariss.
She is survived by: her daughter Hannah; her grandchildren, Jon Eric Shelton (Erin), Alexandra Lynne Pizzichillo (Lou), Jessica Hart Brockett (Jimmy), Nicole Kathryn Hart, Ethan William Hart and Emma Taylor Hart; her great grandchildren, Eric Bradley Shelton, Mia Lynne Pizzichillo, Logan Robert Pizzichillo and Bennett Turner Shelton; her siblings, Deane Fariss (Glen), Kaye Fariss and Lucy Campbell (Don); Shelton (Mark), Albert E. and Amy.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to Liberty Christian Academy (Formally Lynchburg Christian Academy).
