He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward Haley and Dosha Hunt Brown Haley; his brother Robert'Bear'Haley; and his son Lajuane Evans. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Mae Haley; his children, James Haley (Barbara) of Brookneal, George Haley, Jr. (Sarah) of The Villages, Lawrence Haley (Gloria) of Lynch Station, Charles Haley (Karen) of Dallas, David Haley (Teresa) of Gladys, Virginia, Sheryl Craft (Glenn) of Hurt, VA and Doshie Witcher of Altavista, Virginia; and his siblings, Raymond Haley and Rebecca Dennis. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews along with many other family and friends.
