She is survived by: her son La Royal Vassal of Gladys; her grandchildren, Elijah Vassal of Lynchburg, Makeda Vassal of Lynchburg and Moses Vassal of Gladys; her siblings, Shirley Adams of Gladys, Vernon Vassal of Gladys and Ronnie Cleve Vassal of Gladys; and her friend Vernard Swinney of Madison Heights. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
