We announce the death of Barbara Jean Parsons Owens (Glen Allen, Virginia), who passed away on August 4, 2026. Barbara’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Martin and Betty Alice Holt Parsons; and her brother Larry Martin Parsons. She is survived by: her family James Roon Owens; her sons, John Martin Owens and Stephen James Owens (Robin); her grandchildren, Hunter Cole and Clara Grace Owens; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Parsons. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tuckahoe Volunteer Rescue Squad.
