He was predeceased by: his parents, John McInerney and Kathleen McInerney; and his siblings, Peter McInerney, Colum McInerney, Gerald McInerney (Rae) and Patsy Fegan (Michael).
He is survived by: his wife Geri McInerney of Glen Allen, VA; his daughters, Sarah McInerney (David Lynch) of Richmond, VA and Joanne McInerney Farrow (Andrew) of Bloomfield, NJ; his grandchildren, Ryan Gordon Denning (Quavius), Evan "Evi" Farrow and Connor Farrow; his great grandchild Jonah Denning; his sister Sheelagh Knipe (David); and his sisters-in-law, Sheila McInerney, Heather McInerney and Sheena Astolfo (Anthony). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, their extended families, and so many dear friends.
