He is survived by: his children, Howard C Hager III (Vonda), Sarah Hager Lambert (Ron) and Robert Earl Hager; his grandchildren, Jessica Hager Bowden (Kevin), Jennifer Hager Keen (Eric), Savannah Hager Collins (Brian), Logan C Hager, Austin Lambert, Bryce Hager, Rachel Hager and Amanda Tuck; and his great grandchildren, Ryleigh Bowden, Parker Bowden, Henry Keen and James Keen.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home (8014 Lee Davis Road, Mechanicsville, Virginia 23111). A graveside service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Winns Baptist Church Cemetery (12320 Winns Church Rd, Glen Allen, VA 23059). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
