She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleo Grogan and Waller Grogan. She is survived by: her husband Howard Smith; her daughters, Courtney Karam and Julie Rekant (Evan); and her grandchildren, Taylor Polto (Ryan), Abby Karam, John Karam, Ethan Rekant and Adelyn Rekant.
