He was predeceased by: his wife Bonna Samuels Forstmann; and his parents, Charles Leonard and Marjorie Forstmann. He is survived by: his daughters, Courtney Forstmann (Paul), Carrie Francisco (Jon) and Charity Karwowski (Alex); his grandchildren, Christian, Maria, Porter Francisco, Ian and Eva Karwowski; and his sister Shirley Thorpe (Scott). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Henrico Police Foundation or Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #4.
