He is survived by: his wife Brenda Dabney Ives; his children, John David Ives and Jennifer Lynn Ives; and his siblings, Lynn Shifflet (Steve), Richard Ives (Cheryl), Jane Shimchick (John), Connie Garrett, Jeff Ives and Joe Ives.
