She was predeceased by: her father Kermit E. Carter. She is survived by: her son Jerell M. Austin (Kiara M.); her granddaughters, Keiasia and Jeniyah Austin; her mother Carol M. Carter; her sister Tonija Freeman; her niece Dominique Freeman; and her great-niece Londyn Browder. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
