He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lee and Martha Lawson Wood; and his grandsons, Gunnar Wood and Zachary Wood. He is survived by: his wife Gretchen Giersch Wood; his children, Craig Martin Wood (Joy) of Danville, Virginia, Greta Leigh Rohrbach (Shawn) of Hayes and Laci Tyler Lowe of Gloucester Point, Virginia.; his grandchildren, Sarah Grace Lowe, Emily Faith Lowe and Sydney Stone; his sister Betty Saunders (Bill) of Hampton, Virginia; and his brother-in-law Richard Giersch (Sonya) of Strasburg, Virginia. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
