Though Patricia Joyce may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Patricia Joyce touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Chapman and Hazel Edwards Chapman; her husband James L. McCoy; and her siblings, Freddie Chapman, Joanne Rose, Brenda Soloft and Geneva Easterling.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lois Henderson, Nina Collier, Robert Joe Chapman (Veronica) and Michael Chapman (Jean). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hogg Funeral Home & Crematory (3098 George Washington Memorial Hwy, Gloucester Point, VA 23062). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hogg Funeral Home (3098 George Washington Memorial Hwy, Hayes, VA 23072).
