She was predeceased by : her husband William Richard Batterby, Jr.; her daughter Cynthia Leidig Smith; and her grandsons, Michael Leidig and Brandon Scott Grimm. She is survived by : her children, Kenneth "Chip" Leidig (Barbara) and Elizabeth Grimm (Donald); her grandchildren, Jamey Leidig, Jason Leidig, Ashley Leidig and Kyle Leidig (Jessica); and her great grandchild Waylon Leidig.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Hogg Funeral Home & Crematory (3098 George Washington Memorial Hwy, Gloucester Point, VA 23062). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
