We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2022, at the age of 85, Barbara Elizabeth Novotny (Gloucester, Virginia), born in Baltimore, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father August Herrling. She is survived by: her husband James Anton Novotny; her children, Nannette Nichols (Dana) of Hayes, James Novotny Jr. (Jeannie) of Corolla, Joseph Novotny (Tina) of Gloucester Point and Pam Barclay (Bob) of Chesapeake, Virginia.; and her sister Judy Goetz (Jack) of Tennessee. She is also survived by Eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
