He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Chapin and Marilyn Chapin; and his daughter Cara. He is survived by: his wife Janet Chapin; his sister Cynthia Maddox; his sons, Aaron (Natalie), Dylan (Heidi) and Alex (Lauren); and his grandchildren, Owen Shepard (Tessa), Charlotte, Henry, Hannah and Xavier Chapin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Bethany United Methodist Church (1860 Hayes Rd, Gloucester Point, VA 23062). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
