With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Ann Melancon of Gloucester, Virginia, who passed away on May 19, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Doris Ann shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Doris Ann farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clement E. Roy and Stella Major Roy; and her husband Mike. She is survived by: her brother Larry Roy of St. Martinville.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church of St Therese (6262 Main St, Gloucester, VA 23061-4163). A Mass was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
