It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Jean South of Gloucester, Virginia, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frances Jean South to pay them a last tribute.

She is survived by : her husband Richard Franklin South; her daughter Connie Birdsall (David); her granddaughters, Jessica Conner and Janice Whitley (Keith); her great grandchildren, Olivia, Brenton, Ellie, Bayleigh and Brian; her brother Bernard Soles (Ruby); and her brother-in-law Billy.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Andrews Funeral Home (7192 Main St, Gloucester, VA 23061). A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Salem Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue.
