It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harold David Gibson Sr. of Gloucester, Virginia, who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Newton Gibson and Leah Lucinda Shortt. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Still Gibson; his sons, Harold David Gibson Jr. (Sherry), James Newton Gibson (Dana) and Kenneth William Gibson (Beth); his grandchildren, John "Jack" Kenneth Gibson, Katherine Elizabeth Gibson, Ellen Paige Gibson and Emily Catherine Gibson; and his caregiver Megan Mooney.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the River Road Baptist Church (8000 River Rd, Richmond, VA 23229). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at the Westhampton Cemetery.
