She was predeceased by: her parents, William Franklin Thompson and Mary Hart Thompson; her husband Francis Rowe Fary; and her sister Shirley "Betsy" Thompson. She is survived by: her son Joseph Franklin Fary (Donna); her grandchildren, Brian Dunston and Lindsay Fary Nazak (Andy); and her great grandchildren, Asher and Mason Nazak.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Andrews Funeral Home (7192 Main St, Gloucester, VA 23061). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Olive Branch Global Methodist Church (10833 Harcum Rd, Gloucester, VA 23061).
