She was predeceased by : her parents, Cyril Ellis Carver, MD and Eleanor Wright Carver. She is survived by : her husband Philip Wellford Hamilton, Jr.; and her children, Kevin Bradford Chesney, Christopher Ronald Chesney, Scott Robert Hoover, Michael Alan Chesney and Terree Colleen Kunkle.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Abingdon Episcopal Church (4645 George Washington Memorial Hwy, Gloucester, VA 23061).
