She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Swindell and Nina Caffee Swindell; her husband Herman W. Parks; her grandson Kenny Parks; her great grandchild Robbie Harwood; and her brothers, Jessie and John Swindell.

She is survived by: her sons, Herman K. "Bill" Parks and Robert Parks; her sister Evelyn Sadler; her grandchildren, Ann Harwood, Matthew Parks and John Parks; her great grandchildren, Kenny, Emily and Brittany; and her great great grandchildren, Hudson, Harrison and Troy.
