We announce the death of Paul Hogg Jr. (Gloucester, Virginia), who passed away on August 13, 2026, at the age of 79. Paul will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Paul Hogg and Dorothy Elizabeth Williams Hogg; his son Peter Samuel Hogg; his siblings, Dr. John Roger Hogg and Rebecca Lynn Hogg Sherman; and his sibling-in-law Woodward M. Sherman.
He is survived by: his wife Toni Chiesa Hogg; his son John Edwin Hogg (Cameron Williard Hogg); his grandsons, Peter Sidney and Silas Williard Hogg; and his sister-in-law Dr. Carol Campbell Hogg.
He served four terms in the House of Deputies of the General Convention of The Episcopal Church, in addition to his contributions to various committees and boards within the Diocese of Southern Virginia.
