He is survived by: his wife Wilma McKinney-Maxwell; his brothers, John Maxwell, III and Edgar Maxwell (Kathy); and his children, Amy Mosher (Robert), Peter Maxwell, Jr. (Sonya) and Joann Saunders (Jason). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, and great and great-great nieces and nephews.
