Sheila Foster Hogge Obituary

Sheila Foster Hogge, of Gloucester, died in the early morning of Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital with her family by her side. Sheila was born to the late John and Virginia Foster on October 26, 1937. Sheila was an old-fashioned country cook and everyone loved all the food she would make. Sheila loved animals, going to the mountains to appreciate their beauty and she loved working outside.

Sheila was the most kind and loving grandmother and will be dearly missed. Sheila was preceded in death by her husband, John H Hogge Sr, and children, Herbie Hogge and Melody Brooks. Sheila is survived by her children, Kathy Garris, Ginger Gustafson (Nathan), Francie Hogge (Tony), Kristen Taylor and Shaun Wiant (Karen). Grandchildren Kasey Burch, Stephanie Cheatham (Matt), Katie Willis (Curtis), Kevin Burch, and Tyler Hatton survive her along with great-grandchildren Waylen Cheatham, Emma Wiant, and Abby Cheatham.

Box 385, Gloucester VA 23061, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Services will be private. Services under the direction of Hogg Funeral Home & Crematory.
