He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Fred Gilkerson and Ella Marie Johnson Gilkerson; his brother Tommy Gilkerson; his daughter Donna Watson; and his great grandchild Hayden Layton.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Gilkerson; and his children, Ronald LeBlond (Melanie), Janet Rinehard, Ted LeBlond and Vickie LeBlond. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Andrews Funeral Home (7192 W Main St, Gloucester, VA 23061). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at the Windsor Gardens Cemetery (80 Soles Ln, Dutton, VA 23050).
