She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvah Mattox and Bertye Caulk Mattox; her husband Colonel Howard Irving Furst; and her son Steven Furst. She is survived by: her son Bruce Furst; her grandchildren, Samuel Furst, Amber Furst Heim and Ashley Virginia Furst; and her daughter-in-law Alicia.
