He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Tussey Newborg and Victor Robert Newborg; and his sister Nancy Dines. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Joan Newborg; his children, William Bartley Newborg (Anne), Kirstin Blair Motley (Daniel) and Thomas Garrett Newborg; his grandchildren, Olivia, Mason, Carson and Sawyer; and his siblings, Jean Eckman and Jonathan "J. B." Newborg (Tami). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
