The passing of James W. Hamrick of Goochland, Virginia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 17, 2025 at the age of 90. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hamrick and Rhetta Hamrick; the mother of his children Joyce; his son James "Jimmy" Hamrick; and his siblings, Frank, Elizabeth, Billy, Bobby, Carolyn, Daisy, Dan and Ron.
He is survived by: his children, Donald "Joey" Hamrick and Jill Harrow (Warren); his brothers, Gene Hamrick (Donna) and Don Hamrick (Lorna); and his grandchildren, Travis (Jessica), Billy (Amanda) and Kalee (Fran). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Oakland Baptist Church (2965 Oakland Church Rd, Gum Spring, VA 23065). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
