With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Jackson of Goochland, Virginia, born in Farmville, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 26, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Rakes and Norma Rakes; her husband James Jackson (Jimmie); her children, Roxanne Guido and James Jackson; and her siblings, Rosalee Fowler and David Rakes.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Schermerhorn; and her pets, Ruffy, Foxy and Princess. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In honor of her generous spirit and in lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, Maryland 21741, an organization close to Ann's heart.
