He was predeceased by: his spouse Lavaughn Wooden Phillips; his mother Ruby Cecil Owen Phillips; and his siblings, Murrell "Fip" Phillips, Sherwood Phillips and Patricia "Trish" Hargis.
He is survived by: his father Marshall Orion Phillips; his children, Sherry Phillips Dean (Jeffrey) and Randall "Kent" Phillips, Jr. (Connie); his grandchildren, Randall Kent Phillips, III and Ellen Phillips; and his caregivers, Sheila Irving, Marion Haynes and Skeeter.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Forest Road United Methodist Church. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
