She was predeceased by: her parents, William Spence and Hallie Burks Spence; and her siblings, Faye Ramsey, Gene Spence, Bobby Spence and Betty Waugh.
She is survived by: her daughter Laurie Weeks (Brian); her grandchildren, Amanda DeSilvey (Gary), Kimberly Bhalla (Brice) and Spencer Gentry; and her great grandchildren, Madelyn, Adeena, Grayden and Beckett (Bonnie Craig).
Visitation was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home - Bedford (320 N Bridge St, Bedford, VA 24523).
