She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Banks and Mattie Lee Oakes Jacobs; her husband Harry Leftwich; her son Joseph William Franklin; her granddaughter Erin Leigh Franklin; and her siblings, Ida Mae Moles (Mazie), Clyde Jacobs, Leonard B. Jacobs, Edward Jacobs, Nancy Tyree, Louis E. Jacobs, Richard Jacobs, Vernon Jacobs and Virginia L. Jacobs.

She is survived by: her sister Mazie; her children, David Lynn Franklin of Goodview and Annette F. Thompson (Ralph) of Spring Branch, TX; her daughter-in-law Linda Franklin of Roanoke; her grandchildren, David Shane Franklin (Michelle) and Megan Slater of Wilmington, NC; her great grandchildren, Gabe and Jonah; her siblings, James C. Jacobs (Wanda), Leroy Jacobs (Judy) and Patsy Wheeler; Katherine, Ted Rooke of Greenville, SC, Max Rooke of Sturgis, SD, Hal, Stephanie and Acelyn Thompson of Farmington, NM. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers consider donations to the Chamblissburg First Aid and Rescue Squad, Beaverdam Baptist Church, or Bedrock Church Roanoke.
