He is survived by: his children, Darin Neela (Karen) of Goodview, VA and Torie Neel Pendleton (Nelson) of Forest, VA; his siblings, Shirley Griffith of Athens, VA, Harlas Neel of Tazewell, VA, Curtis Neel of Tazewell, VA, Raymond Neel of Roanoke, VA and Darrell Neel of Pocahontas, VA; and his grandchildren, Matthew Neel, Lisa Grimmett, Kaitlin Gault, Makayla Pendleton and Garrett Pendleton. He is also survived by his family, friends, neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home of Tazewell (870 W Main St, Tazewell, VA 24651). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
