Though Delva may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Delva touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parent Dell Iva Griffin Jr.; and her sisters, Maggie Cole and Wanda Lee Johnson. She is survived by: her mother Helen Martha Epperson; her husband Francis Michael Blewitt; her daughter Trista Jade Griffin; her stepson Damian Michael Blewitt; her siblings, Jennifer Robin Lang, Mickie Spencer, Jeff Griffin Sr., Chris Casteel, Greg Shimp and Pamela Shifflett; and her close friend Shari Turner. She is also survived by family members and friends.
