It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Cromer Harper of Gordonsville, Virginia, who passed away on August 11, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ernest Cromer Harper to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Manless "Joe" Harper and Stella McDaniel; and his sister Doris Waugh. He is survived by : his wife Sandy; his son Eric Harper; his daughter-in-law Tammy Harper; his grandchildren, Hunter Harper, Trenton Harper, Kiersten Harper, Kaylee Breslin and Luke Breslin; and his sisters, Nancy Snow (Wayne), Jean Gibson, Anna Jenkins and Alice Heimburg. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sentara Cancer Center, Hospice of the Piedmont or to a charity of your choice in his memory.
