He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Ray and Ann Mae Dowell; and his siblings, Frank Dowell and Linda King. He is survived by: his wife Suzi Dowell; his children, Tiffany Polo (Richard), Gary Ray Dowell Jr. (Amanda), Matthew Dowell (Marilyn) and Cynthia Schmitt (Billy); his sisters, Gloria Bouton, Ginger Thomas and Becky Thomas; and his grandchildren, Korey, Natalie, Ethan, Jameson, Lyla, Ezlyn and Rowyn. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
