Marion E. Cook Obituary
Marion E. Cook of Gordonsville, Virginia departed this life on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at her home. Marion was born to the late Wilmer Cowherd and Othelia Williams Cowherd. She attended Orange County Public Schools. Marion spent the majority of her working career with Frank Ix manufacturing, where she retired from with over 20 years of service.
Following retirement Marion decided to work part-time for Virginia Oil in the deli department. She was preceded in death by her 5 siblings, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. She leaves to cherish her memory 3 children, 1 daughter in-law, one sister in-law, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grand-children, 2 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Preddy Funeral Home on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 11am, viewing one hour before. Interment will be held at Woodberry Cemetery Gordonsville, Virginia.
