He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Preston William and Ina Lee Cox Henderson; his wife Susan Catlett Henderson; his children, Eric Wesley Henderson of Gore, VA and Laura Beth Hawkins (Brian) of Stephens City, VA; his sister Dorothy Jenkins; and his granddaughter Brooke Drake.
